My April Favourites

Hello May, oh how the year went so fast, but boy I’m glad.

Here are my favourites of the month of April and I’m not only going to do my favourites in beauty products but also movies, tv shows and music (yay). Like my opinion matters right?

Now let’s start off with some beauty products.

The Face Shop Cherry Blossom-Clear Hair Mist
Purpose: Removes hair odour and hair oil. You can use it on both wet or dry hair.
Availability/Price: I bought this from The Face Shop when I was in Singapore and it was $13. To the best of my knowledge, they still do stock these.
Rating: 4/5 I love it! I use it on days when I haven’t washed my hair, it is honestly better than a dry shampoo and I hate using dry shampoo because I feel like it makes my hair oily. But this is honestly the BOMB!!

Zoeva Caramel Melange Palette
Purpose: “Sweet and smooth, the ZOEVA Caramel Melange Eyeshadow Palette offers a selection of delicious shades – from soft, tawny butterscotch hues to caramelized, golden crème brulée nuances and warm toffee tones, spiced up by a sprinkle of bronzed cinnamon. Let the creamy smooth textures melt on your lids and relish in matte and shimmery caramel nuances for smouldering, rich makeup looks.” – Sephora
Availability/Price: I got a friend from Singapore to purchase it from Sephora and they’re still available and the price of it was $38.00. You can go to Sephora to purchase it.
Rating: 3.5/5 I haven’t fully used all the colours just yet, but with the shades that I have experimented I am quite satisfied with the pigment. I receive many compliments whenever I use this eyeshadow.

W7 Glowcomotion Shimmer Highlighter Eyeshadow
Purpose: Can be used as a highlighter, shimmer or an eyeshadow.
Availability/Price: I bought this from My Beauty Spot in Whitfords Shopping Center, but you can also purchase it from My Chemist Warehouse and it’s only $4.99!
Rating: 3.5/5 It is very pigmented and I’ve been applying it to my cheekbones, however, it is hard to blend.

Gentle Daily Cleansing and Make-up Removing Water for face and eyes.
Purpose: Gentle Daily Cleansing and Make-up Removing Water for face and eyes.
Availability/Price: I received mine from Bellabox subscription box, but you can purchase it at Priceline as well. The Bellabox subscription was around $12.95 a month, check out their website for some monthly goodies.
Rating: 5/5 I was really impressed with the overall cleansing and how strong the make-up remover was. I am definitely purchasing it!

Now let’s go to my favourite movies & tv shows (I don’t think any movies will be included)!

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
About: “The Banks family, a respectable Californian family, take in a relative – Will Smith, a street-smart teenager from Philadelphia. The idea is to make him respectable, responsible and mature, but Will has got other plans…” – IMDB
Rating: 5/5 I used to watch this show every time I came home from school, but because I was so young, I didn’t really grasp the concept. Since I was going through a lot of emotional events in my life, I decided to finish the whole show and it was amazing! I couldn’t stop laughing!

About: “A subversive take on Archie and his friends, exploring small-town life, the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade.” – IMDB.
Rating: 4/5 Ever since I was a young girl I always read Archie comics and I always bought them from Swap-Meets or Newsagents. Anyways, when I saw this show on Netflix I was like OMGGGGG, but I knew it was NOTHING like the comics, the show itself is very dark. It’s a mixture of Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl.

13 Reasons Why
About: “Follows teenager Clay Jensen, in his quest to uncover the story behind his classmate and crush, Hannah, and her decision to end her life.” – IMDB
Rating: 4/5 Everyone was raving about it, so I gave in and decided to watch it for myself. I watched this show all in one sitting, from 2:00pm until 2:00am and it was worth every moment and emotion I went through. I was sincerely traumatised by the events, but it is worth watching!

Now, my favourite music (songs) for the month of April.
