My October Favourites

I have quite a few favourites this month, which is great!

Fenty Beauty Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter (Limited Edition – Plutonic Relationship)
“A limited-edition triple-threat fusion of creamy colour, glitter, and shine. Highly pigmented hue is packed with iridescent glitter and drenched in mirror-like shine for a megadose of multidimensional shimmer that’s out-of-this-world comfortable.” (Sephora).

I purchased mine from Sephora for $26.

5/5 – Now in the above video that I did, I said I hate glosses, but this has changed my mind significantly! The colour looks so good on me and the pigmentation is amazing! I love this gloss way too much!

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter (Trophy Wife)
“Weightless cream-powder hybrid highlighters that range from subtle dayglow to insanely supercharged.” (Sephora).

I purchased mine from Sephora for $50.

5/5 – THIS IS THE BOMB! This will not disappoint you at all – I receive so many compliments for it and people have been asking me to order the highlight for them.

Mohinga Flavour Instant Noodles
4.5/5 – It was surprisingly good! I didn’t expect it to be good for some odd reason, but it tasted just like fresh Mohinga and all you had to do was add some eggs, coriander and chilli to it! Thanks to my friend for sending this out to me, because now I don’t even have to learn how to cook Mohinga 😛

Esprezzo, Noranda
4/5 – I’d ordered a Salmon Rosti and it was delicious! I wanted to try Esprezzo Cafe for a long time and finally got the chance to do that. I’m quite satisfied with their coffee and food, but there are other things I want to try on the menu too!

“A look at the life and crimes of five women who work at a Florida nail salon.” (IMDB)
Desna (Niecy Nash) and her girls do nails at the Nail Artisans in Manatee County, but her dream is to live a better life and own her new store down in Beverly Hills.  However, Desna finds herself in the middle of a money laundering scheme with Dixie Mafia. When Desna approached Roller (Jack Kesy) to keep up his promises, things started to go south – that’s when Desna and Virginia (Karrueche Tran) takes the matter into their own hands and the drama keeps getting better.

5/5 – I LOVE IT! At first, I was a little critical because I didn’t know what to expect from Karrueche Tran, but she did really well! But the show is amazingly good – both sassy and action-packed. Niecy Nash was amazing in this as well – I would totally recommend it if you’re into girly crime-fighting show!

“Follows two of America’s wealthiest families as they feud for control over their fortune and their children.” (IMDB). Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) was hoping her father hands over the next highest position within their company, Carrington. However, Fallon’s father ended up giving the position to her step-mother, and Fallon decides to set her eyes on her father’s biggest rival.

4/5 – I do enjoy it because it is a cross between Gossip Girl and Suits! I love the glitz and glam that comes with this, but also the crime that is involved.

Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le
“The story of R&B artist Michel’le, who rose to fame in the late 1980s when she signed on to Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records.” (IMDB). Now, that was just a brief explanation; basically, Michel’le decided to do this biopic of her life because she was not included in “Straight Outta Compton“. She goes into depth with the domestic violence she had to face with both Dr Dre and Suge, and also how Suge controlled her life.

4/5 – I really liked it and at first, I didn’t want to watch it because seeing a woman go through an abusive relationship just breaks my heart. But the story really did show the other side of Dr Dre, so that was interesting.
