Happy New Year to all my readers 🙂
I just want to say thank you for all the support, my blog had seriously been booming in 2017 and had become my main source of place to write, and I shall continue with my blogging ventures.
So, I just wanted to go through my New Year Resolutions for 2018
1. Be vegetarian/vegan as much as I can.
Two years ago I was doing so well being a vegetarian, I did it for about 9 months until I went on a trip to Burma (Myanmar). So for 2018, I am cutting down on meat except for fish and try to replace my dairy products with alternatives such as soy and tofu. It’s the third day of 2018 and I’m doing good so far!
2. Get in shape.
I’ve never been to the gym and hopefully, I’ll change that this year (so expensive yo!) But I will be working out on every day at home just to tone some of my muscles and get rid of my stomach fat.
3. Be financially stable and capable.
I have been unemployed for several months and was only able to do casual work because that was the only opportunity I received. This year that’s going to change and I’m going to try my best to secure a job and work hard.
4. Clean and renovate the house.
Haven’t been motivated enough to clean and renovate the house, and that was also because I didn’t have a stable job. But when I do, I’m going to help my mother clean and renovate the house.
5. Post fewer statuses on Facebook.
I tend to write a lot of statuses on Facebook and not everyone should know everything. The weird thing is, I don’t even do it for attention. I do it because it’s the closest thing next to me. My goal is to write fewer statuses or put them on private or use a diary instead.
6. Read more.
Last year reading books healed my broken self and this year I want to be able to finish at least one book per month.
7. Go to Burma.
I haven’t visited Burma for over a year now and I really do want to go back this year and go on trips to Bagan & Ngapali.
8. Cook and bake more.
I’ve found out that cooking and baking for me over the holidays had been a therapeutic experience and I want to carry on into the new years by making myself some meals. Maybe when I have time, attend some pastry making classes.
9. Visit more places in Perth.
There are so many beautiful places in Perth/Western Australia that I haven’t been to. It is my duty this year to visit as many beautiful places in Perth, maybe around 5.
10. Go to the dentist and plan my teeth goals.
Two years ago I didn’t consider to get my teeth fixed because it’s expensive. But now that I’m getting older, I do want to straighten my teeth, so I’ll hopefully start the planning process for it this year.
What are yours?
