I’m sitting here in the kitchen waiting for breakfast to be ready, and it’s Australian Day. By the time you read this, it’s either a week late or maybe even earlier. Anyways, for those who did celebrate Australian Day, what did y’all do? I’m not doing anything because I don’t want to!
Anyways, I didn’t realise that we were heading to the end of January, so here are my favourites for this month!
Golden State of Mind Eyeshadow Palette by Colourpop
“Highly pigmented shadow that applies evenly and feels ultra-velvety and silky. This long wearing formula contains a unique combination of softer powders which adheres easily to the eyes, gives a soft focus effect, and blends smoothly and evenly.” (Colourpop)
I purchased mine from Colourpop when they had the 20% off sale, so it cost me $20.40.
3.5/5 – I haven’t quite used the palette in the way it was instructed to be used, therefore this is my rating. The palette has beautiful colours and it has been instructed to dip your eyeshadow brush into some water because it is “formulated to be used wet”. I’ll get back to you after I have 😛
Honey Moon and Touch Me Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick by Sai Cosmetix
This is one of the new products from Sai Cosmetix, he has released a line of matter liquid lipsticks. It’s high quality, long lasting and an attractive colour.
I received it as a gift from my Aunty, but you can purchase it from Beauty Diary for 12000 Kyats.
3.5/5 – It’s very smooth to put on and last for a good few hours, but I’m not obsessing over it. The only reason it’s been my favourite for the month is that it’s just an easy application to apply for work days.
“A somewhat awkward teen is attacked by a werewolf and inherits the curse himself, as well as the enemies that come with it.” (IMDB)
4/5 – I thought I would never get into Teen Wolf because I’m a little biased when it comes to werewolves and vampires. I’ve also tried to watch Teen Wolf last year and couldn’t get into it, so I decided to stick it out you know? Anyways, I am loving it so far – the storyline is so interesting and there’s a lot of eye candy in the series (have a huge crush on Derek, what a man)!
“Four talented singers fight to defend their spot on stage as they are challenged individually by new performers who are determined to replace them.”
4/5 – I really like this show – not only is the panel of judges great but the way the show has been set out is quite entertaining. It started out with the original “four” and contestants would come on to the stage to battle them and take their seat.
